The Hertz Corporation Maintenance Manager (Auto) - Seatac Airport in Seatac, Washington
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for our car rental location at 188th and Des Moines Memorial highway. This is not workign with the building but with the maintenance of the cars.
You will manage a team of 20 direct reports who are working to service our vehicles and get them back to the airport for our customers. This is a union shop of Tire and Lube technicians as well as Damage Appraisers. You will be looking at reports in Excel and setting up for the daily business and communicating needs to the team. You will also conduct performance reviews, coach for performance and employee relations.
We are looking for someone driven and eager to learn the business. Someone who is nimble and can move from project to project as business need dictates. Sometimes you have a plan for the day and 30 minutes in you are now working in a different direction. We also need someone comfortable with Outlook and who can work in Excel by creating reports and also reading reports.
The Maintenance Manager is responsible to manage all functions needed in order to oversee the repair and maintenance of the vehicles within the various locations.
Provide administrative support to all maintenance functions.
Responsible for communicating daily tasks for the department.
Coordinate schedules for service maintenance on all vehicles within the Pool as needed.
Maintain, monitor and order supplies as needed.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must be able to work flexible shifts including; weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Must be computer literate with strong keyboarding skills.
Knowledgeable in rental car procedures and location operations.
2+ years in a management or supervisory role overseeing the repair and maintenance of the vehicles within a multiple location organization.
Complex problem solving skills; proven ability to solve problems independently.
Must have excellent multi-tasking and verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to manage, develop and motivate staff.
